The Event
The mobile and telecommunications industry, in front of a hundred people. Izak Sjahrir, CEO of Nexian and a co-founder and former director of Jatis, and Abul A'la Almaujudy (Cak Uding), Managing Director of Better-B, took the questions, with Rama Mamuaya of DailySocial moderating. Telkom hosted the evening and provided snacks and wifi.
The night also carried the first Startup Pitch, a segment that has run at meetups ever since. Didiet Noor of Mijix presented Gedego, a real world mobile game built on location based services, and became the first founder to pitch the community. Natali Ardianto announced SWAStartup, a business incubator programme for local startups.
