#StartupLokal Meetup v.62 — Startup Talks About Love

February is a "love" month. In Indonesia, there are some startups that focus to run the business correlated with love. We picked three startups, they are:

1. Wavoo (http://wavooapp.com/) (dating app focused on the Indonesian market).

2. WeddinQ (http://weddinq.com/) (e-commerce wedding package marketplace).

3. AsmaraKu (https://www.asmaraku.com/) (e-commerce site for romance products in Indonesia).

They will share their business experiences and reveal some love tips & tricks! They also will share why they choose this niche, how they monetize the startup, and so on!

The Speakers are:

Yudhi "Domex" Mandey (Founder and CEO Wavoo)

Domex is the founder and CEO of Wavoo, with over 15 years of experience in media, technology, and health care startups. Domex has been involved in a variety of technology related ventures which add to his expertise and commitment on establishing Wavoo to be the online dating people would love to use.

Aditya Dwi Putra (Founder WeddinQ)

Adit started his journey as Entrepreneur in 2012 when he was developing his first product called Geomarko (it's foursquare for SME) that never launch until now. In 2013, his second startup in digital advertising, Karamel was invested by Telkom Indonesia. One year struggling, Operational shutdown per January 2015. William Tunggaldjaja (Co-Founder AsmaraKu)

William was born and raised in Bandung, and received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley.

William was the Country Manager for Path Indonesia, started Zomato Indonesia as the Country Manager, and also served as the Vice President for Lazada Indonesia focusing on Marketing & Partnerships. Prior to moving back to Indonesia, William started his career at Microsoft holding multiple roles from a Foreign Exchange Trader to Business Development.
