Tentang

I am passionate about harnessing technology, innovation, and collaboration to deliver growth and impact at scale. For the past two decades, I have worked at the crossroads of the for-profit and for-impact worlds, building large, multi-stakeholder programmes, mobilising capital for early-stage ventures, shaping advocacy and policy dialogues, and leading globally distributed teams. Ultimately, I thrive on turning ambitious ideas into sustainable solutions that unite commercial viability with lasting social and environmental value. Until recently, I was leading Mobile for Development at GSMA, a global team of 130+ experts and a $25m+ annual portfolio whose work has reached over 220 million people across LMICs. Our initiatives - developed in partnership with bilateral donors, foundations, mobile operators, governments, innovators, international organisations and NGOs - blended policy influence, research, technical assistance, and investment to strengthen digital and innovation ecosystems. Beyond GSMA, I co-founded Africa: The Big Deal and built it into the leading platform tracking start-up investments across Africa and connecting entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem enablers with data and insights. Outside of work, you’ll find me in a museum or a gallery, travelling, on a long city walk or simply at home reading… and always open to exchanging ideas, book recommendations, or recipes!
