The startup is currently the largest digital technology company for aquaculture sector in world, helping more than 100,000 farmers, 300,000 ponds, and employing more than 2,000 eFisherian. eFishery is the first company in the world in aquaculture technology category to reach valuation higher than $1 billion. Gibran was listed as Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2017, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (Innovation category) 2018, MIT Tech Review Innovator Under 35 in 2019, and Fortune 40 Under 40 Indonesia in 2022.
