#StartupLokal Meetup v.80 — Legal Aspects on Building Your Startup

Thinking of finally launching that startup in this year? When starting up a business there is a range of legal requirements that must be adhered to. Lots of entrepreneurs at least have a basic understanding of the law, most of them fail to think about the legal implications of starting a company. Many startups who are trying to save money on hiring attorneys are turning to online legal service companies who provide low cost “boilerplate” contracts.

In this #StartupLokal Meetup, we're welcoming Rieke Caroline, SH., MKn. (Founder & Director KontrakHukum.com) to share her insights on basic legal aspects to be kept in mind while setting up a startup.

Rieke Caroline was the Outstanding Student and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Law from the Universitas Pelita Harapan. She received her Master of Notary from the University of Indonesia where she was a merit-based scholarship recipient from the Ministry of Education. Her thesis examines the legal issues of start-ups in Indonesia.

Her passion in legal issues was formed when her father suffered from huge losses due to signing a contract that he did not completely understand. With the advancement of technology, Rieke incorporated PT Teras Perjanjian Digital in 2016. The mission is to provide the SMEs and start-ups easy access to legal services through online platform.
